Abstrak

A company which has an ongoing development as its main goal will need a large amount of capital to finance the activities and operations. One alternative of achieving this large amount of capital is by selling shares as a ‘go public’ company. Investors purchasing shares as they have certain return expectations and they have some ways to determine company’s financial performance. However it is not easy to find out whether one company has created value or it has not. In order to overcome this difficulty, a new concept called Economic Value Added has been developed.
